Join the fun at the City of Houston’s Official 4th of July Event, “Shell Freedom Over Texas”
The 4th of July will be here before you know it, so get ready to hear all the fun things to do with your friends or family at this year’s City of Houston’s official 4th of July event – Shell Freedom Over Houston.” Susan Christian, director at the Mayor’s Office of Special Events, joins Blanca to give everyone all the details of what’s been planned for the event happening at Eleanor Tinsley and Sam Houston Parks on Buffalo Bayou – along Allen Parkway.
Susan talks about the five stages that will be set up with musical entertainment. Headlining the Shell Main stage will be chart-topping country star, Chris Young. Other stages will feature American Music Award winner Yola and Soul/R&B/Funk band TMF with their new lead singer, native Houstonian Chris Walker.
